There are many beneficial life skills to be learned from a theater camp: Acting and/or Singing Skills - Communication -Creativity -Memorization -Confidence –Teamwork –Problem Solving & Critical Thinking. We incorporate all of these and more into our popular, week-long summer day camp programs.
Parents, relatives, and friends are all invited each Friday at 5:00 pm to enjoy a free showcase performance to display everything their child learned throughout the week
Drop-off is at 9am and pick-up at 4:30. Students must be picked up by 4:45 or late fees will apply. EARLY DROP-OFF IS AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE. PLEASE SEE REGISTRATION.

Cancellation Policy- No Cancellations after May 1. Prior to May 1, to cancel email accounting@mudcreekplayers.org. A non-refundable $35 processing fee applies to all registrations.
Mud Creek Musical Theater Camp
Session 1: June 5-9 or Session 2: June 26-30
Grades 2–8

This camp is designed for students who are interested in singing on stage. The students will work on basic projection and singing skills and will put on a variety show at the end of the week for family and friends. No prior experience necessary.
Advanced Acting
June 19-23
Grades 4-9

This session is geared towards slightly older students or those with some performance experience. While the focus is still on fun, the student will learn a bit more about what it takes to put on a play. This camp is for more mature students who want to learn about all aspects of production: acting, props, costumes, makeup, set building. The Friday performance will truly be their own.

Elementary Stage

Note - students who are not yet reading independently may need extra help at home memorizing their scripts.
This session is ideal for students who are interested in theater but have little or no experience. The focus is on having fun. Students will learn what it takes to put on a theatrical performance and will be encouraged to use their creativity to put on a unique showcase for friends and family.
Typical Camp Day Schedule

10:20 – 11:40am Skill Building Exercises
11:40 – 12:00pm - Recess
12 – 12:30pm - Lunch
12:30 - 2:30pm - Show Rehearsal
2:30 – 2:50pm - Snack
2:50 – 4:00pm Small Group Practice
4 – 4:30 – Games
4:30 - Pick up
We provide materials and two snacks for campers each day. Each camper should bring a sack lunch.

After your payment is received and your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation and a permission slip to be completed by the first day of camp.
