Onis Dean (Jesus), is excited to make his debut at Mud Creek as Jesus in JCS. He has performed in many musicals in community theaters all around Indy. Some of his more notable roles include Jim in Big River, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus in Godspell, and Coalhouse in Ragtime. Onis would like to take time to thank all the talented cast members in the show as well as the directors for this opportunity. Finally, he would like to thank all of his family and friends for always being supportive in all his endeavors, and YOU for coming to the show and helping to support the arts. Thank you!

Mike Lipphardt (Judas Iscariot) is humbled to be making his MCP debut in the role that gave him the inspiration to first step onstage nearly 20 years ago. His first community theatre role was an apostle in "Jesus Christ Superstar." Some 30+ shows later, Mike has performed in such roles as Albert Peterson in "Bye, Bye Birdie," Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet," and Whitney Olive in "Done to Death." By day, he is an Assistant Principal at an Indianapolis-area high school. He would like to thank Michelle and Linda for giving him the opportunity to play his dream role onstage, to his family who first introduced him to the music, and to his wife and son who tolerate his absence so he can perform. To Matthew and Sarah--I love you more than anything.

Pearl Scott (Mary Magdalene) was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. While attending Lawrence North High school, she played the roles of Dorothy in the Wiz, Eileen in Wonderful Town, and Ronnette in Little Shop Of Horrors. In college, she was cast in multiple student original musicals and selected for many music ensembles. After graduating from Indiana University, she enlisted in the Army as a Singer, performing all around the nation. In March of 2019, she completed four years in service and made it her mission to get back into theatre productions. She is thrilled to make her come back as Mary Magdalene at Mud Creek Players.

Jeremy Crouch (Pilate) is very excited to make his debut at Mud Creek Players. He recently played Rob McGregor in Bridgadoon (2018) and the Policeman in Singin’ in the Rain (2019), Footlite Musicals. Past activity includes backstage for Anything Goes (2017), Dreamgirls (2017), Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (2017)and Legally Blond (2018) as well as Assistant Stage Manager for Big Fish (2017), Brooklyn (2018), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (2018) and Into the Woods (2018). He is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington.

Lot Turner (Caiaphas) is a writer, actor, director, producer and parent originally from Anderson. Most recently he was seen at Anderson's Mainstage Theatre as Rooster Hannigan in Annie. His one-act play, Down Devil's Backbone has played the Indy and Minnesota Fringe Festivals. His adaptation of Frankenstein has played in Indianapolis and Wisconsin.

Kata Ewigleben (Annas ) is a graduate of the Anderson University School of Music. Although this is her first time performing at the Mud Creek Theater, she is no stranger to the stage. Some of her favorite roles include Cinderella in “Into the Woods”, Sandy in “Grease”, and Ado Annie in “Oklahoma!”. She has enjoyed her first experience working at the Mud Creek Theater and is thrilled to be a part of such an amazing cast and crew.

Rick Barber (Herod) Rick is super excited about being part of this nostalgic production at Mud Creek Theater.. Rick brings to the cast an extensive list of performance credits including stage shows at Kings Island, Great America CA, Holiday World, Shoji Tabuchi Productions Branson, Dino Karsonakis Productions Branson, Louise Mandrell Productions Branson, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express Las Vegas, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Productions. Rick attended Indiana University’s Jacob School of Music, where he was a member of the I.U. Singing Hoosiers, and later graduated with a degree in music education from Oakland City University. At Footlite Musicals, Rick could be seen in, Tommy, The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, The Bridges of Madison County and Priscilla Queen of Desert. Rick’s most resent work was seen at Footlite Musicals where he and husband Chris choreographed and directed the musical, Legally Blonde the Musical. Rick feels it is always a blessing to meet each new cast and making new friends in the Indy theater world. He is so thankful for so many God-given talents to bless others with and for an amazing family and parents who continue to bless his life. Thanks Chris Barber for always being the love of my life.

Austin Stodghill (Peter) is excited to be making his debut at Mudcreek Players. Austin has recently appeared at Footlite Musicals in Legally Blonde The Musical and Singing in The Rain. In high school, he appeared in Legally Blonde The Musical as Warner and Fiddler on The Roof as Mendel. Austin is so exhilarated to be a part of such an awesome cast in this stellar production! He would like to thank his close friend Ted for literally always supporting him and his “Brothers” Jacquelyn, Bri and Dani for all being so encouraging and fantastic friends. And thanks to all his awesome Family and Friends that show their amazing love and support!

Eli Robinson (Simon/Leper) Eli is incredibly excited to be portraying the role of Simon in Mud Creek's production of "Jesus Christ Superstar"! Notable roles of his include Javert in Les Miserables, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and The Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance. Eli would like to thank his family, friends, and fiance for the continued support of his artistic endeavors. Enjoy the show!

Jayden Abram  (Apostle Matthew, Priest)   Jayden Abram is a student at Lawrence North High School. This is his first performance at Mud Creek. He's excited to share the stage with his aunt, Pearl.

Karolyn Al-Malik (Guard and ensemble) is very excited to be a part of Jesus Christ Superstar. She has been a part of theater through middle school, high school and college. This is her first show at Mud Creek Players and her first show in last 5 years. She is very excited to be back in the theater world and hopes you enjoy Jesus Christ Superstar!

Chris Barber (Priest, Leper, Ensemble) Chris has over 20 years teaching competition dance and has won many national chorography awards for his work. Chris worked as Disc Jockey for WGGK for two years. He has danced with the Circle City Ballet Company, The Indiana Fever Hip Hop squad, Nike Culture Shock. He has choreographed musicals for local high schools as well as many high school dance teams. He performed with the Coachlite Theater and Miss Betty’s Dinner theater in Nashville Indiana. At Footlite Musicals, Chris could be seen in, The Best Little Whore House in Texas, The Bridges of Madison County and Pricilla Queen of the Desert. At Civic Theater Chris played the role of Larry in, A Chorus Line. His most recent work was seen at Footlite Musicals where he and his husband, Rick Barber, directed and choreographed the musical, Legally Blonde the Musical. Chris is excited to be working with this wonderful and talented cast. Chris is thankful to God for the talents he has been provided and the loving support of his husband, Rick Barber.

Matthew Blandford (Apostle John, Leper, Mob) Matthew returns to the stage after an 8-year hiatus. After several productions in his high school years, he spent college studying music composition, writing mostly song cycles for choir and experimental pieces for small chamber ensembles. He joins Mud Creek Players aiming to re-establish himself in the theatre scene, and he's extremely excited by the opportunity provided in this amazing production of JCS!

Christopher Brown (Apostle Thaddeus) lives in Acton, Indiana and is presently working for the U.S. Army. Chris's most recent roles have been Ernie Cusak in "Rumors" (Buck Creek Playhouse), Art Foley in "It's A Wonderfull Life, A Live Radio Show" (Buck Creek Playhouse), and Cheswick in "The One, Who Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest" (Shelbyville Playhouse). He is looking forward to performing in his first production at Mud Creek Theater. He can only pray that he performs half as well as his children Paige and Cameron. Chris wants to thank his family and friends for coming out and supporting him, and asks that Christian Condra does not critique him to hard.

Susan Burt (Ensemble ) has been a part of the Indianapolis Women's Chorus for 16 years and The Indianapolis Solstice Choir for 13 years. She joined the Indianapolis theater scene in 2015 and 2016 in The State Fair Musical at the Indiana State Fair. In the summer of 2016, Susan was a chorus member of the City of Westfield's production of The Drinking Gourd. In 2018, Susan was a chorus member in the Footlite production of The Bridges of Madison County. Susan was Connie Boylan in The Biz’s production of Annie in the Fall of 2018. She is very excited about  JCS.

Shannon Clancy (Apostle James the Minor) has been doing musical theater since she was 7 years old. She loves singing, dancing, and acting with wonderful people who share her interests. Shannon was a part of Christian Youth Theatre (CYT) for 6 years of her life. Her favorite parts include the Enchantress in Beauty and the Beast, Auntie Em in Wizard of Oz and Tabaqui in The Jungle Book. She has been a part of many community theater productions over the years and this is her first show with Mud Creek. Shannon is very excited to be performing a classic musical with great new friends she’s come to know.

Ben Craighead (Drums)  lives in Danville with a room full of musical paraphernalia and three very tolerant cats. JCS will be his eighth credit in musical theater. Recent shows include "Carrie: The Musical" with the Hendricks Civic Theater and "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" at Footlite Musicals. More often than not you can catch Ben living out his rock star fantasies across central Indiana with his band, Backroad 39.

Kirsten Cutshall (Apostle Philip) is excited to be back on the stage at Mud Creek. Her last appearance was as Antonia in the 2012 production of Man of La Mancha. Previous credits include Bye Bye Birdie and The Wizard of Oz. Kirsten is an alumnus of Anderson University’s School of Music. She would like to thank God, her family, and the incredible cast and crew of JCS for their encouragement and support.

Guy Grubbs (Ensemble)  is proud to be performing with this talented cast and crew in his first show at Mud Creek Theater! And what a show! So many amazing performers coming together to perform this classic show/tale! Thank you to everyone for allowing me to share your stage!  Favorite roles include, Bosun, in the Tempest, Willie Conklin in Ragtime, Gentleman/Lord  in Bardfest, Thisbe/Francis Flute in Midsummer’s Night Dream, Prince Escalus in Romeo and Juliet, Gatch in How to Succeed in Business, Avram in Fiddler on the Roof, Old Joe in A Christmas Carol, the Musical, Uncle Henry/Winkie/Ozian in The Wizard of Oz, Merly and Kind Pellinore in Camelot, Constable in Fiddler on the Roof, and Police Officer in Wait Until Dark.

Laura Hicks (Disciple Joanna, Merchant, Leper, Fire Singer, Soul Singer) JCS is Laura's first show at Mud Creek Players, and she is thrilled to be a part of such a talented cast. No stranger to the stage, some of Laura's favorite roles include Little Red in "Into the Woods," and Ado Annie in "Oklahoma." She is a graduate of Anderson University School of Music and teaches music at Sand Creek Intermediate in Fishers, IN. She resides in Noblesville with her husband, Theo, and their daughter, Nora.

Kelly Keller (Apostle James the Elder, Leper, Mob) is thrilled to be appearing on the Mud Creek stage again. Kelly has also appeared in productions at Civic Theater, The Belfry, Epilogue Players, and Westfield Theater. Some of his favorite roles include Walter Cunningham in “To Kill A Mockingbird”, Dr. Gibbs in “Our Town”, Phelim O’Shaunnesy in “Is He Dead”, and Tom in “Lucky Me”. Kelly will be directing “Steel Magnolias” at Mud Creek Theater this fall. Kelly would like to thank Michelle and Linda for the opportunity to be in this amazing production with this incredibly talented cast. Kelly would like to thank his wife and daughter for their continued support.

Tanya Keller (Crowd Solo 6, Guard, Ensemble)  is excited to be a part of this AMAZING cast. This is her second musical, and this is so cool. Previously Tanya has been seen as Sheree - Dixie Swim Club, Battle Axe Annie - Curse of the Aching Heart, Cuddles- Dashing Through the Snow, and the blue nun- Nunsense 2 She would like to thank her husband and daughter for encouraging her, and coming along on this journey.

Craig Kemp (Band lead guitarist) Since rekindling his love of community theater in 2012 (after a 28 year ‘haitus’!) Craig has performed (as an actor) in productions by Mud Creek Theater, Carmel Civic Theater, Carmel Community Players, Footlite Musicals, Catalyst Repertory Theater, Eclectic Pond Theater Company, Epilogue Theater, Improbable Fiction, and First Folio. He wishes to thank all involved for making this production a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and his family both here and ‘across the pond’ for supporting his passion.

Danielle (Dani) Lopez (Ensemble ) is extremely excited to be involved in another performance with the Mud Creek Players! She’s been active at Mud Creek since high school where she started with The ACT! program! Her favorite roles have been Demeter in Cats: The Musical and Paulette in Dashing Through The Snow.

Carolyn Rae Lynch (Herod's Harem, Tormentor/Dancer, Soul Girl), is thrilled to be a part of this talented cast in her first show at Mud Creek Players! Past shows include Legally Blonde, (Elle's Mom/Judge/Dress Shop Clerk), Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Marion/Ensemble), Side by Side by Sondheim (Ensemble), Monty Python's Spamalot (Laker Girl), Suds, the Rockin' 60's Musical Soap Opera (Dee-Dee), Annie (Grace), and Sound of Music (Elsa). She has also performed in numerous cabarets and with various groups around the city. Carolyn received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Butler University and is currently employed with Avant Healthcare Marketing. She would like to thank everyone who was involved in this show for being so welcoming, committed, and fun to work with. She would also like to give a special shout out to her hubby, fat dog, family, friends, and co-workers who are so awesome and supportive!

Fred Margison (guard, crowd, ensemble) This is my first time at Mud Creek and my other first is designing and building for Hendricks County theatre. I have been doing theatre since 1987 and this is my first time on stage for JCS. During the years I have done everything but stitch costumes, and it is always nice to work somewhere new.

Ronan Marra (Apostle Andrew, Ensemble)  has had the good fortune of participating in Mud Creek productions of “Shakespeare In Hollywood” (Max Rinehart), “Arsenic and Old Lace” (Mortimer Brewster), “A Funny Thing Happened … The Forum” (Lycus), “The Sensuous Senator” (Harry Douglas), “Dashing Through the Snow” (Hoyt Ledford), “The Amorous Ambassador” (Harry Douglas) and “In-laws – Outlaws and Other People (That Should Be Shot” (Dad). He was also seen in Buck Creek Theatre’s production of “A Few Good Men” (Lt. Col. Markinson) as well as “A Few Good Men” (Col. Jessup) and “The Sound of Music” (Capt. Von Trapp) at Crawfordsville’s Vanity Theatre.

C.J. Moore (Apostle Thomas, Leper #1, Old man, crowd member) With two thespian parents, C.J. has been around showbiz from a very young age. A member of Mud Creek Players since birth, he has been featured in many shows including Curse of an Aching Heart, The Chronicles of Narnia, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. JCS is his second musical production at MCP.

Collin Moore (Captain of the Guard, Crowd Solo1) While training his cat to yowl on key, Collin was tragically scarred by a jealous animal trainer who threw acid onto his face. He later attempted to kidnap a female elementary music teacher but was woefully beaten senseless by the 85lb apparent power lifter. Afterward, he resorted to simply entering people’s homes in the night and removing all their dining room chandeliers. He was caught in the act by a diligent glass collector and was taken to the local hospital for observation. He met his wife in the hospital as she was his observer, generally pressing her nose against the glass partition and exclaiming, “Oh my God would you just look at that face”. Soon love bloomed. He was offered his part in this production when his director wife fell to her knees before him and said, “Crud I just dropped my pen. Oh, by the way, I need you to play the part of the Roman Guard who beats the bejeazes out of Jesus. Oh, here’s my pen!” The rest is history.
[Director’s note: My idiot husband forgot to say he is honored to be the only returning member of our 1989 JCS cast, when he played the role of Jesus. Also, nothing in the previous bio is true.]

Dani Morey (Herod's Harem, dance captain, ensemble) is elated to be making her Mud Creek Players debut in one of her dream shows! Previously she has been seen around town in the ensembles of Footlite Musicals' Singin' in the Rain and Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre's Anything Goes, as well as playing the role of Clementine in the Fonseca Theatre Company's production of Hooded, or Being Black for Dummies. Much love to her family and fiancé for their unwavering support, and a special mention for her "brother" Austin for being such a sunny person at each rehearsal.

Kimberly Morgan (Soul Singer, leper, Apostle Susannah) is lead-singer of POPARAZZI BAND, singer in the Good Earth Band E.O.P. Band Something Rather Naughty Band. THEATRE- Ragtime at St Luke’s.. Cinderella- Wicked Step-Sister Beef & Boards. National Anthem singer for various sporting events and featured singer at various social events. Foreigner.. Linda Parr (Music Director/Keyboard) is thrilled to be working with this talented cast and crew and this amazing rock band. Past Productions include Singing in the Rain (Vocal Director) at Footlite; Annie (Music Director/Keyboard) at The Biz; Dogfight, The Rink, Bonnie and Clyde, Assassins and Scrooge (Buck Creek); The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Brooklyn and Into the Woods (Footlite); and Carrie the Musical (HCT). She has served as music director the past several years for the Indiana State Fair: The Musical, an original production written for the State Fair. She serves as Director of Music at Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis and accompanist at Mt. Vernon Middle School in Fortville. In her spare time she loves her Chihuahua babies, playing cards, camping and spending time with her wonderful wife, Linda Suba. She thanks Michelle for this opportunity to mark one more thing off her bucket list.

Rosa Parr (guard and ensemble) Is 14 years old and attends Edison school of the Arts in 7th grade. She loves the arts and musical theater, and was recently stage manager for Indiana state fair, Dog Fight at Buck Creek, Steel Magnolias at center stage and assisted with props for the Rainmaker at Buck Creek. She also was in her first show on stage, Annie, brought by the Biz. She would like to thank her grandmas, Linda Parr and Linda Suba for everything she does.

Hannah Partridge (Herod’s Harem, Tormentor, Soul Singer, Ensemble ) is thrilled to be making her debut on the Mud Creek stage. Hannah currently lives in Noblesville and most recently played Professor Willard in Our Town at The Belfry. In her hometown of Nashville, Indiana, some of Hannah’s favorite past roles include Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Marty in Grease, and Liza in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Hannah would like to thank Michelle for the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful production, and also thank the full cast, crew, and band for bringing this show to life!

Connor Phelan (Apostle Bartholemew, Ensemble) Connor grew up at the Mud Creek Barn, and has been in many productions over the years. He helped found The Act, our youth theatre program, and played Vinny in our recent production of "Inlaws, Outlaws, and Others who should be Shot." Connor has recently enjoyed branching out to The Belfry for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and Center Stage Community Theatre for "First Kisses," but is excited to return to the Mud Creek Stage for his first musical production.

Diane Reed (Crowd Solo 2, Leper Solo 6, Ensemble) has been involved in community theater since moving to Noblesville in 1973. She has played a nun 3 times, a maid 3 times, a hot box dancer, a mission worker, an angel and a governess to name a few. As a recipient of both an Encore Award and Epi Award (Epilogue), Diane particularly enjoys comedic roles. "I love creating laughter, and my "ditsy" nature allows me to develop this persona quite easily."

Margaret Smith (Priest, Dancer, Ensemble, Soul Singer) is thrilled to be making her debut with Mud Creek Players as part of such an amazing cast. Margaret’s past credits include The Wiz; Damn Yankees; and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (she met her husband through this show!). By day, Margaret’s passion is social work and she currently works in consulting.

Jill Stewart (Keyboard 2)  Jill Stewart is brand new to the Mud Creek stage and is excited to be a part of this show! A Butler grad, Jill is a choir teacher at Mt. Vernon Middle School. Although this is her first show at Mud Creek, Jill has been playing and music directing musicals for the past decade around Indianapolis including LEGALLY BLONDE and SISTER ACT at Footlite Musicals and BONNIE AND CLYDE, ASSASSINS, and DOGFIGHT at Buck Creek Players. In addition to JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, she is currently working on DISASTER, THE MUSICAL at BCP. Jill is just crazy enough to love being a middle school teacher and enjoys performing with her choirs. In her spare time, Jill loves to travel with her husband, Ron and their dog, Chloe.

Piper Williams (Herod’s Harem, Tormentor, Soul Singer, Ensemble ) is excited to be a part of this amazing cast and crew in her Mud Creek Players debut. She was last seen in Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp as Keelo and some favorite past performances include ‪Legally Blonde (Delta Nu Sister), ‪The ‪Addams Family (Wednesday Addams), ‪Bye Bye Birdie (Penelope), Fiddler on the Roof (Golde), and Spider’s Web (Pippa Hailsham-Brown), where she received a 2017 ENCORE nomination. As a junior at Carmel High School, Piper was a student director for Failure, A Love Story at her school with IndyFringe earlier this year. Thank you to Michelle for her creative direction!

Monya Wolf (Disciple Martha, Temple Temptress, Leper, Soul Singer) is so excited to be in her first musical at Mud Creek Players. She is a member of Mud Creek and has done a few shows here. You may have seen her in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Curse of an Aching Heart or Is He Dead at Carmel Players. She is a Cincinnati transplant and has been enjoying her three years in Indy by filling her nights at the theater. She recently expanded her roles around the theater to costuming and hair and makeup. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her dramatics (on and off stage).
