THE TAMING OF THE SHREW

By William Shakespeare, adapted by Dana Lesh

November 1 - 10

Established community theater leader and Shakespeare enthusiast Dana Lesh will close our season with one of Shakespeare’s most talked-about comedies. Presented in stunning Elizabethan style with an eye for modern context, Lesh explores the relationship between Shakespeare’s witty and willful heroine, Katharine, and her dutiful sister, Bianca, as they sharply navigate a world that was built to work against them. With a comedic structure, and uproarious interactions, The Taming of the Shrew maintains an unnerving undertone throughout the characters’ rowdy march down the aisle… What does perfection look like when every choice you make affects your chances of survival?
